Reports to: Executive Director
Job: We’re seeking an innovative and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to work closely with our third-party contractors, consultants and other cross-functional team members to implement and manage our on-going IT projects (website buildings, data science integration, IBM Cognos Analytics reports development, other mandated reporting systems by funding sources, etc..) The ability to scope and prioritize activities based on the agency's need and a “get things done” mindset will be critical. The ideal candidate should have proven success as a project initiator/leader, and be able to plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
Design and implement agency-wide IT strategic plans by collaborating with the outsourced IT consulting firm, consultants and internal team members to brainstorm, prioritize and deliver effective solutions for our staff and clients.
Oversee the development process of new features and functions of the agency website and mobile App for iOS and Android platforms
In charge of the improvement of the new in-house data system and its integration with other systems.
Be responsible for the strategy and roadmap for the agency analytics dashboard using IBM Cognos Analytics platform or any other platforms.
Establish the internal adoption of City’s newly developed data system and be responsible for its integration with the internal Jupiter system.
Oversee the MR (Mixed Reality) model development project using Microsoft HoloLens 2 and ensure its connection to users.
Effectively communicate project expectation/progress to project team members and leadership team in a timely and clear manner.
Manage and oversee project lifecycle for existing and emerging projects.
Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other equivalent degree in the field.
Experience / Skills:
5+ years’ direct experience in the IT project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
Ability to work in a complex and fast paced team environment that promotes service integration and focuses on measurable outcomes and innovation.
A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation, able to respond timely and supportively to common inquiries for help, and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills to resolve a variety of technology users from a wide range of users.
Self-motivated quick learner.
Highly detail oriented.
Data analysis skill is highly desired.
