Pay Range: $20.50 to $24.50, determined by education and experience
Schedule: Varies between the hours of 07:00 AM to 04:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Full-time and Part-time positions available!

What You'll Do: As a Teacher within St. Anne’s Early Childhood Education department, you will directly impact young children, ages 0-5 years old. You will be responsible for the overall monitoring and active care and supervision of the children in the classroom. You will collaborate with classroom teaching staff to plan, facilitate, and implement individual and group activities designed to stimulate children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. Teachers will assist with the inclusion of children with special needs. You will also encourage parent engagement in the educational activities and assist with promoting the parent as the child’s first teacher in their development.

 

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • 12 Early Childhood Education or Child Development college units including 3 infant/toddler units, 3 units in Curriculum, 3 units in Child, Family, Community and 3 units in Child Growth Development

-OR-

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field

-OR-

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual English, Spanish, Tagalog, and/or Korean preferred
  • Able to relate well to children and adults
  • The ability to provide leadership and stability for program continuity
