About CAM's Child Family Services:
As a Head Start Program, we provide year-round early childhood education serving children aged 0 through pre-kindergarten. As a teacher at CAM, you'll be part of a dynamic team engaged in a continuous cycle of observing, guiding, learning, and assessing children's progress. You'll create a joyful and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Qualifications (by Title):
Preschool Teacher:
Education: Must have a minimum of 24 units of Early Childhood Education and meet the eligibility requirements for a Child Development Teacher Permit through the CTC. Preferred: AA/BA in ECE (including 24 units ECE/CD including core courses + 16 GE units).
Permit: Must have a current Child Development Teacher Permit from the CTC
Infant/Toddler Teacher:
Education: Must have a minimum of 24 units of Early Childhood Education (including 6 units specific to infant/toddler care) and meet permit requirements. Preferred: AA/BA in ECE/CD (and coursework meeting CA Child Care Licensing requirements for fully qualified infant/toddler teacher - 24 core units, 6 infant/toddler specific).
Associate Teacher:
Education: Must have a minimum of 12 college-level semester/equivalent quarter units (covering child/human growth and development, child/family/community, and program/curriculum). For Infant/Toddler classrooms: 6 ECE units must be infant/toddler specific
Permit: Must have an Associate-level Permit from the CTC
