General Summary:    

Under minimal supervision, the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Manager will oversee the monitoring and continuous quality improvement of the Early Care and Learning program areas and the Co-Recipient to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and efficient operation and in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. The CQI Manager will prepare routine and comprehensive assessment reports; implement procedures for continuous monitoring of the Grantee directly operated ECL program and the Co-Recipient program operations; supervise the CQI Analysts; and monitor the key components of the Head Start Management Systems. The CQI Manager in collaboration with ECL Leadership will coordinate the planning and implementation of the Annual Self-Assessment in keeping with Head Start Program Performance Standards, other applicable regulations and Board of Directors and Policy Council policies and procedures; and performs all other related duties.

This position is full time and may require the ability to work a non-traditional work schedule including evenings and weekends, as needed. This is remote work environment and will consist of primarily working remotely up to 9 days per quarter in the office.

Starting annual salary: $109,811.04

Within the team structure, provide quality preschool services for children enrolled in the Head Start program which include the following responsibilities:

Program Monitoring and Supervision 60%, Leadership & Administration 25%, and Program Development/Training 15%.

Core Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Early Childhood Development, Education, Human Development, Family Development, Social Services or a related field.
  • Experience: Five years or more of job-related experience with demonstrated competence in managing mandates for grant-funded programs.  Experience administering programs with some experience managing and monitoring budgets, as well as coordinate functions and activities between the ECL program and outside agencies.
  • Travel: This position requires 25% of travel.  Travel may involve attending meetings, trainings, CCRC sponsored events and conferences throughout the state. Some overnight travel may be required. May use CCRC company vehicles, when available or personal vehicle and will be subject to Driver Management Policy requirements (i.e., valid California Driver’s License, automobile insurance and a clean driving record required).
  • Background & Health Clearance Requirements: Head Start / CCP
    • Criminal Records (e.g. Live Scan Fingerprinting), Child Abuse Index Check, Sexual Offender Registry, Health, Tuberculosis (TB) and Immunization clearances required.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Agency policy requires that all CCRC employees are fully vaccinated or have an approved medical or religious exemption.
