Early Childhood Coach - 1554

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Education Coordinator, assists with the overall planning and operations of the program and ensures quality services to children and families. Under the direction of the education coordinator, the early childhood coach will provide feedback and support to assist teaching staff in improving their practice.

Required Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in child development/early childhood education or related field.
2. Three years teaching experience with children ages 0-5 in a licensed setting.
3. One year in a supervisory or administrative position.

Essential Functions:

1. Works closely with the education coordinators to plan and ensure a developmentally comprehensive, multicultural, anti-bias program for children and families.
2. Works closely with education coordinators, and specialists to plan and implement an effective training program for instructional staff to increase their knowledge, skills, and experience in child growth and development.
3. Supports instructional staff through training, modeling, and guidance per coaching plan. Monitors the teaching staff for progress toward established goals.
4. Scores teachers using the Classroom Assessment and Scoring System (CLASS).
