Details about the Position

The Executive Services Division is currently accepting applications for Grant Writer/Research Analyst, Associate.

The Grant Writer/Research Analyst, Associate will have experience with grant, technical, and/or professional writing. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing the accurate and timely completion of written projects. Moreover, the candidate has strong experience driving project management, people, processes, research, budgets, and leading by influence in a dynamic and complex operating environment. They will have superb organizational skills for tracking grant progress and reporting, customer service skills for providing technical assistance, and attention to detail for executing special events. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and project manager to lead the grant process throughout the entire grant lifecycle.

Under the direction of assigned Director, leads, plans, organizes, and conducts grant proposal development activities; develops grant proposals and fundraising strategies for a variety of departments including the Superintendent, education departments, and others; serves as a resource in the areas of grants development, grants administration, and special events.

This position is full-time, and has a work year of 12 months, 261 days, 8 hours per day.

Education and Experience

Any combination equivalent to:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, business, public administration, social science, or related field AND
  • Experience: Four years increasingly responsible experience in fundraising, development, community relations, or related field. Experience in a K-12 public education setting preferred.
