Working under the Controller and in full coordination with the Associate Director of Operations, this position will work out of our MAAC North Campus office. As a Fiscal Manager within MAAC's dynamic Child Development Program, this position will lead the financial stewardship for the program, ensuring every dollar propels our mission forward. This position will coordinate and collaborate with Child Development Program leadership and administrative staff to streamline financial processes and ensure efficient use of resources.


We're seeking a visionary leader with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required, with a passion for nonprofit financial management.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive accounting work experience, preferably within a federally funded nonprofit environment.
  • Experience with Head Start and State Funded Pre-School Programs is highly valued.
  • Proven supervisory experience, demonstrating leadership, mentorship, and a commitment to team development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software systems, with a knack for leveraging technology for impactful financial management.
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, coupled with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, growth, and staying abreast of fiscal regulations and best practices.
