Currently, Kai Ming is looking for an experienced Teacher Aide who can attend to the care and education of young children in a high quality setting to foster their school readiness and establish a foundation for success in school and life.

 

Job: This position functions as a ‘floater’ in the center supporting classrooms when needed for 40 hours per week. The primary role of this position is to support classroom activities, supervision and needs. The secondary role is to ensure quality food service and sanitation in the center. 

 

Position Type: Part Time (maximum 30 hours per week) Non-Exempt.

 

Reports to: Site Manager

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least 6 months experience working with children

  • 6 units in Child Development/Early Childhood Education with a California Child Development Assistant Teacher Permit.  

  • Child Food handler permit required.

  • Annual health exam and immunization Clearance

  • Criminal Background and Child Abuse Check Clearance

  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination record is required
